Durchschnaufen, ein Stoßgebet, zu allem bereit: Matvey, bewaffnet mit einem Hammer, den er hinter seinem Rücken versteckt, drückt die Klingel einer typisch russischen Hochhauswohnung. Die Türe öffnet sich und Andrey, brutal aussehender Polizist und Vater von Matveys Freundin Olya, steht vor ihm. Es dauert nicht lange, da bricht in der spießigen Wohnung die Hölle los und Blutfontänen spritzen, Knochen zersplittern und aus der einst so geordneten Moskauer Vorstadtwohnung wird in kürzester Zeit ein Schlachtfeld, auf dem sich die beiden Kontrahenten einen gnadenlosen, unbarmherzigen Kampf auf Leben und Tod liefern.
